The Festival Area
The Graves Family Farm of 1800 Acres
Meadows, walnut and oak trees, the streams, horses, cattle, goats – are all framed by the Blue Ridge Mountains just there at the edge of the camping fields.
The all new Big River Stage – 32 feet wide and 6 feet off the ground is serenaded by the Rose River and the sixteen hundred returning campers clapping and whistling for their favorite fiddlers.
The campers and day festers know
The stream is waiting for a dunk or a fishing rod – for many both.
They can count on the same “old style” Southern cooking with Margaret, Margie, James, Gail & the Restaurant Team doing Farm to Table up in the Farm Restaurant.
Down by the stage there is the usual festival food and drink plus the bonus of special menus by Gail, Kevin, Joyce and the Festival Team working the grill.
2nd Stage – this year we add a stage down by the Market, Deli & Tackle for local VA Bluegrass on Fri & Sat – PM and Eve.
The New Cafe tent’s smoker and grill and salad options.
The Beer, Wine & Cider Tent is yet another NEW addition. Craft brews by Beer Hound, Hard Cider – Original “Squeeze” – by the farm, and fine wines by our neighbors, DuCard.
It’s all about LOCAL
